Project Name: Hebei Dongxing Glass Co., Ltd. 140 t/d High-End Appliance Glass Panel Production Line Equipment Renewal and Technical Transformation Project
Project Location: Within the premises of Hebei Dongxing Glass Co., Ltd., No. 21 Weisan Road, Shahe City, Xingtai City, Hebei Province, China.
Main Construction Scale and Contents: This project will not increase production capacity. It involves equipment renewal and technical transformation of the existing production line within the original plant site. Advanced domestic glass production line technologies, intelligent systems, and advanced energy-saving and carbon-reduction technologies will be adopted. The existing 140 t/d rolled glass production line (Line #1) will be upgraded to a 140 t/d high-end appliance glass panel production line. Major works include: demolishing the existing horseshoe-flame furnace and upgrading it to an oxy-fuel fired glass furnace; phasing out the semi-enclosed sloping-batch charger and upgrading to a fully enclosed screw batch feeding system; replacing the air-fuel combustion system with an oxy-fuel combustion system; upgrading the semi-automatic furnace control system to a fully automatic control system; upgrading the semi-automatic rolling machine control system to a fully automatic control system; replacing the outdated cutting system with an imported AI-optimized cutting system; replacing the existing limestone-gypsum desulfurization, SCR denitrification, and wet electrostatic precipitator with ceramic filter cartridges and bag filters, along with other auxiliary facilities. New facilities will be constructed, including an oxygen generation system, electric boosting system, defoaming system, bubbling system, and automatic batching system. Upon project completion, the production line's intelligence and automation levels will be improved, product quality and added value enhanced, pollutant emissions reduced, and carbon emission intensity and energy consumption per unit of product further lowered, making the line more energy-efficient, low-carbon, and environmentally friendly. A win-win situation will be achieved in terms of low-carbon energy conservation and green economic benefits.
Existing Facilities and Environmental Protection Status: The company currently operates two rolled glass production lines (Line #1 and Line #2), each with a designed daily melting capacity of 140 t/d and a single-line production capacity of 850,000 weight boxes per year. Since commissioning, the company has strictly complied with all applicable national and local laws and regulations. The environmental protection facilities have been operating stably, with wastewater, exhaust gases, and noise all meeting discharge standards. Solid waste disposal complies with environmental requirements, and no major pollution accidents have occurred.
